I see it in your eyes
The pain you keep inside
It's slowly tearing you apart
Though you've run away
Reminded day by day
You've stumbled and you've fallen
Still He's calling

I believe that He loves you where you are
I believe that you've seen the hands of God
I believe that you'll know it when
You're back in His arms again

I believe that He'll never let you go
I believe that He's wanting you to know
I believe that He'll lead you 'til
you're back in His arms again

Glad I found you here
'Cause in between the tears
Something in your eyes shows hope
And I stand before you now
As one that knows about
Coming to Him open and broken

And I know that He's callin'
He's callin' you Home

One life, one love, one way Home
And when you rise and when you fall
He will see you through it all
He is waiting, you are called,
back in His arms again.

that song is so so so nice. the lyrics are just so meaningful and its like. so true! i believe. ((:

anyway, i've been terribly sick the past 3 days... high fever of 40 dec and vomitted... it was horrible. i couldn't even stand up cos i was so weak and i had absolutely no appetite at all! which is so way not like me. well thank God so very much that He led me through this little ordeal of mine haha and though i'm not fully back-in-action, i'm getting there. just you wait. ((:

competition's starting next friday. i don't think i'm reday yet. BLAH. apparently quite a few people are getting all demoralised and stuff, that they're not good enough etc etc but heck people! we all rock okayy? ((: though we're not as good, but yeah! we'll go and play our best and give people out there a hard time. hoho. what say you! ((:

(well i just hope that i can recover in time and get back in shape - i only have one training left before it starts)

there's another mission trip coming up during the march holidays... i wonder if its practical cos i think it'll be like very rush and all? cos we only have a week of holidays. hope i can go though. hah, i don't even know if this one is 'worth going' in the sense that there's like so little time to minister up there and before you know it you'll be flying back to singapore again! haha okay nvm i shan't be so calculative cos this is for God ad He'll tell me what He wants me to do. ((:

happy cny ya'll!! <3

i'm back!! a changed woman. HEHE...

school has started. i'm in 3S now. so sad. i'm separated from all of my good friends. )): luckily for me i've still got fatmah and rasyiqah. ((: but nvm! i shall start anew and make new friends! i tell you, 3S will rock solid! hehe okayy it feels weird saying that cos i've always said. 2H rocks! hoho. it still does in my heart. 2H '05 i freaking miss you bunch.

ANYWAY. going back in time to the holidays, i must say. the 2005 end of year holiday has been very very VERY eventfull for me. my life has been changed, quite literally. for those who don't know, i went up to a village in lahu, which is in chiang mai with some of the youths from my church on a mission trip! which so way totally cool.

we spent a total of 10days roughing it out up there in the mountains, along side each other, working together to spread the love of God! i miss mission trainings now... =X haha.

i still rmb... having my first experiences of
1)sitting in the sung teow, seeing the guys throw empty soya bean glass bottles filled with eaten up chewing gum out of the sung teow's window AND being called RANDY because of wallace (you idiot!!)
2)sleeping in a sleeping bag not meant for the arctic-like temperature of the nights in ultra thin bamboo huts on stilts
3)waking up at 4am in the morning to the clucking of a really irritating mother hen and her chicks
4)waking up in the morning and not being able to feel your toes
5)rushing to the fire first thing in the morning to thaw
6)peeing and bombing the toilets that you have to squat and flush by pouring water into the hole
7)tossing kidney beans
8)sawing wood
9)playing with the village kids
10)teaching english in a school
11)standing at the back of a truck and holding on for dear life
12)washing tonnes of plates during washing duty
13)feeling so lost at communicating with the people
14)playing a proper game of volleyball and bruising my wrist
15)carolling for more than 4 hours at a time
16)BATHING IN A RIVER with freezing cold water
17)seeing how poor yet simple the lvies of these people are
18)seeing how God has touched the Christians there (its just so miraculous!!)
19)eating food prepared by the villagers which have loads of MSG in it
20)*seeing my very first shooting star!!

if you wanna find out in detail of my trip, feel free to ask! i'll be more than happy to share my experiences. ((: anyway i shall elaborate on SOME of the highlights of my trip! HEHE. one was mingling with the village kids. 4 of them are extremely close to my heart. 2 from santi, the other 2 from mae ya min. na teh, soom chat, ishaw-gui and aruni. i love them to bits. another highlight is seeing my very first shooting star. i had never ever seen one in my entire life, right up to that day. dec 14 2005 at 10.53pm. it was just so brilliant! so pretty! and i was so totally filled with awe at what God can do. it was simply marvellous. highlight no.3 was bathing in the river. haha! i only bathed three times but once in the river, and that was in the mae ya min river. the water was wayy freezing!! literally. my legs were numb. the water was quite fast flowing and esther lost her slippers to it. rocks everywhere but we managed. and it was worth it. haa! no.4 was bonding with the other mission trippers. man our friendships have been made stronger!! way stronger than before! and that feeling just rocks. i miss you guys. ahwell. ((:

special shoutout to faith! girl! i miss you like hell. seriously. after seeing you for 24-10. haha. you rock too! damn fun to be with. ohya. the gossip club will live forever!! hoho. aye. jesus freak, talking, writing letters, screaming together while bathing, eating together, taking 38 pictures of us, shopping, dressing up and having our fashion parade, doing the nativity skit etc etc etc! man the list just goes on and on... i love you dearr! sighh- looks like i'll have to readjust to not having you around. hahas. nvm. there's always sundays! YAYY!!
