english oral was today.
and it was so easy! hoho.
at first i wasn't very scared.
but then when it was nearing my turn i kinda got nervous.
so i said a little prayer
and God calmed my nerves and gave me the confidence.

then came my turn.
it was quite scary because ms wan didn't look at the paper when i was reading,
so i was a tad worried.
plus she looked BORED even though i had just started!
but nevermind i read through,
and made only one stupid mistake.
wasted.

i somehow managed to crap through the picture
although i didn't prepare to say anything.
and for some unknown reason i laughed when ms wan asked me the conversation topic.
ohgawd.
hahahaha, but its okay i guess because after awhile she was smiling as well.
YES! :D

hope i get good grades this time,
because i'm still scarred for getting 20 something for last year's oral.
which was kinda like bullshit marks because the teacher was so sickeningly strict
that nobody from my group got above 30.
so let's just say,
i'm back to redeem myself.

oh by the way,
there's going to be an encore of our buzz-at-canteen performance.
it's going to be on monday, after school, at the MPH.
but i don't know what time!
haha specially requested by our own seniors who didn't see us perform.

racial harmony day last week was fun!
i wore my aodai because i didn't have anything else to wear.
haha but anyway it was nice.
but i think i looked like a chinese waitress.
and people said i looked like chunli from street fighters.

chris and the gang came over on saturday and yesterday
to discuss our item for yusin's head prefect elections campaign program.
luckily we managed to complete and rehearse everything within 2 days.
and today we performed it for the whole school during recess.

we performed for the lower sec first...
it wasn't that bad but i committed some boo-boos.
but nevermind.
we decided to give it our all for the upper sec recess
and everything went well,
except for the fact that chris' nightmare came true.
she couldn't open her umbrella properly.
BUT!
it was successful cos everyone laughed.
and it kinda looked like it was part of the dance!
HAHAHA.

pity my camera didn't have enough memory space
so our performance was cut off halfway.
which is quite wasted haha but nevermind.
i'm just glad everyone was so supportive
because it was really malu-ating to be doing retarded things in front of the whole school.
but it was a nice experience.

training was so crap today.
chris and i were certainly not playing gour best today,
and that sucks.
i really hope both of us are able to buck up.
if not.
we're both seriously screwed.

i've always wondered what the saying "life's a bitch" means.
but i now know.
and its so true!
i really admire the person who came up with that saying.

just ate a coconut!
its so nice and sweet.
and my mum says its a natural isotonic drink.

ughh i finally managed to complete the stupid history movie review.
spent dunno how many hours on it because i didn't know what to write.
hope its acceptable though.
my eyes are square now.
blah.

i hope the track team did well at today's nationals...
its so sad because the whole school can't go to support.
stupid national stadium just had to be renovated.
i still remember that time when the whole school went.
and it rained on us.
but it was so darn fun!
hahahaha.

nevermind training today was fun anyway.
although we did a new type of drills.
it wasn't bad actually.
but 6 sets was quite boring.

i can't wait for racial harmony day!
i think its going to be fun.

and i didn't watch the finals because my stupid alarm didn't go off.

panda stayed over on saturday night
to watch the 3rd and 4th placings match of germany vs. portugal.
initially before the match we attempted to do our homework but failed quite miserably
because we were distracted.

in the end we tried to get some sleep,
but only succeeded after talking nonsense for a looooong time.
though the only reason why we managed to sleep was because our brains started to shut down on us.

woke up at 3am and went down to make some warm drinks
and then we climbed up the stairs to the attic to watch the match.
GERMANY ROCKS!
ahahaha and i wanna marry oliver kahn.

just read an email that says that my church's mission trip will be in december!
8-19 december, to be exact.
and i'm super excited about it.
but drew says its not a youth mission trip,
so i'm kinda disappointed about that.
cos its just not the same with adults around!
pooh.

youth camp is right before the mission trip too.
so i don't know whether i should go for it although i want to.
but what i'm worried about is the shortage of clothes.
camp ends on the 7th you see!

my dog had an operation today
to remove a tumor that's quite big.
poor ol' chap is still groggy from the drugs though.
but thank the Lord that dino survived
cos the vet said that he almost died!
omg la that's so scary.

training today was fun,
apart form the fact that we had to do 5 sets of footwork
of all six corners of the court.
but here's the catch:
as the sets progress, the next one is 30s longer.
with the first set being 1min long.
so its like 1min, 1min30s, 2min, 2min30s and 3min.

it was MAD.

but we survived.
and i'm proud of my accomplishment.

doubles was quite fun
because we had to partner a sec2 and play against each other.
so...
it was a nice change!
haha...

and it went so wrong.
especially for the first set
during which i played like absolute crap.
and the stupid lights confused me into thinking
that the shuttle went to the right
when it actually went to the left.
WOW.

managed to fight back in the second set
and fought hard in the third,
but i still lost.
and i don't understand why.

15-21, 21-17, 23-25.
such lousy scores.

nevermind that i lost.
the weird thing was that i was so upset after the match.
so upset that i actually cried.
normally i handle losses well
but this time,
i couldn't.
i became depressed.
and i still am.

my level of confidence is rock bottom,
and i'm starting to kiss the chances of me getting chosen to be in next year's team good-bye.
because i really don't see how i'm going to prove my worth
when i can't even win.

anyway!
i want to thank my dear tong gan ku-er huiyan
for lending me her shoulder to cry on (quite literally)
and tried to comfort me by saying purely retarded things
and thanks for burying me under my stuff!
it helped a lot.

school ends at 12pm tomorrow.
and i have to stay back for training.
