sports sports you name it all,
badminton, soccer, basketball.
we play with passion,
we play with might
cos we're sports 13,
fight, fight, fight!
GO, 13!!

ahahaha,
that was my group cheer at the humanities day event held at bartley sec today.
15 of us from 3S went down to take part.
unfortunately we were all split up into different groups (excluding nette)
and i was the only girl in my group!
omg larr.

but nevermind i coped well,
and it didn't take long for my group members to warm up towards one another
although it was mighty awkward initially,
me being the only girl.
but anyway i think we were the craziest group, hohoho.

the activities were quite fun,
first we had to come up with a group name and a group cheer
and we decided on sports 13 cos we all like sports
and came up with our group cheer.

the second activity was about coming up with at least 5 items
that will go into a time capsule.
and those 5 items have to signify Singapore's achievements so far.
mygosh we came up with such retarded stuff.
the guys ended up trying to draw the padang in the space given to explain why we chose that area to bury the capsule.
and i almost fainted.
nyahh, joking!
hahaha.

for the third activity we were tasked to create a national pledege for Easter Island
and also to design a flag.
during that activity i discovered, to my absolute horror, that i cannot draw a simple egg.
*bawl*
but nevermind, haha i think the guys handled the pledge beautifully.

had a break after that!
we were served dry mee siam, fishball in chilli sause and a siewmai
which were all deee-licious.
thank goodness the drink wasn't diluted like the ones given to us during OAC,
it was nice and sweet!
:DD

the last activity had us coming up with a 'village' that addresses one of the 4 given problems.
we chose the water shortage problem and went about designing the plan of the village.
azlan's water tanks looked so darn cute and i was highly amused by them.
we managed to complete the 3-d model,
with much of my nagging the guys and me beating fauzy in cutting up ice-cream sticks (haha).
and i must say i think our presentation was very cheerful and happy!
(cos i kept telling them to smile)

prize presentation was after some powerpoint presentation by denise's group
AND MY GROUP WON!!
ahahahaha so darn happy.
cos we're da best!
wheehehehe...
okok i apologise for being so thick-skinned,
but everyone deserves a chance of having an egoistic streak in them right?!
lols.

i'm kinda fed up.
always telling us things so damn last minute,
not giving us ample time to think,
then expecting us to decide on an answer right on the spot
and supposedly getting pissed cos nobody could make it?
who's fault is it,
just think!
also, i don't think its fair cos 2 of us weren't present
and thus we missed out on the opportunity to attend a valuable workshop.
thanks alot.
