okay let's just say.. today really sucks.
eh wait i change that. thankyou God, for today!
so... today rocks.
but due to some unfavourable circumstances, my rocking day was kind of ruined.

unfavourable circumstance #1
the chinese O level listening compre paper today was NONSENSE.
firstly the radio was way too loud.
there were so much revebrations that i could hardly hear the words.
eeeeyah.
and to make things worse, i don't think i fully understood everything.
to sum it all up, i'm not very confident.
BUT I SO GOTTA GET AT LEAST 8 CORRECT!
need it to pull my paper 1 and 2 grades up.

unfavourable circumstance #2
after the listening compre, pat and i happily made our way to temasek poly.
i was told on friday by some administrator that i could go anytime from mon-fri to enquire about the courses.
however when i approached the lady manning the CAREER AND COURSE GUIDANCE booth,
all i got were hurting remarks.
firstly, the lady was so RUDE. and here i was being so nice and polite about everything.
secondly, i was never given a chance to fully explain why i was there.
thirdly, she kept interrogating in an accusing tone as to WHO i spoke to on friday.
(as if i would know who's in-charge of picking up the phones)
forthly, she made no, i repeat, NO attempt to try to accomodate me.
the 'wonderful' lady with 'wonderful' interpersonal skills just simply gave me the 'wth-are-you-doing-here-asking-me-this' kind of look the whole entire time.
let's just say, she totally RUINED my impression of TP.
and she drove me close to tears, literally.
thankfully the other place that she directed me to had better service.
(wait, the first lady didn't even provide anything close to service)
at least the second lady tried her best to give me some info although i already knew those.
at least she TRIED.
ah whatever let's just say that i wasted my entire afternoon today.

you can probably conclude that i need all your prayers even more,
now that i didn't get anything out of my eventful trip to TP.
i was hoping that by meeting a lecturer, i'd get an advantage.
cos he'll know that i'm really interested.
but nooooooo i was denied that privilege.
so anyway i don't care, i shall put this bad experience behind,
and leave EVERYTHING into God's hand.
and we'll see how, come 13 august.
