happy belated birthday to lil' ol' ME. (:

so old! ):

okay well so yesterday started off as a brilliant day.
dear faith called me at 12am and i opened her present while talking to her.
and how i freaking LOVE her present!
its like, super duper uber freaking nice!
aww faith i really miss ya!
yeah so anyway i spoke to her for awhile, and then hung up because she hadta sleep.
then shawn called when it was nearing 1am.
luckily i didn't fall asleep haha.
so we talked and talked and he sang the birthday song to me!
okay okay i admit, his voice ain't that bad.
happy now??
haha then i went to sleep at 2+ in the morning.
got up for school and sat through lectures and stuff.
though nothing special happened in school,
apart from the many wishes of "happy birthday, rach!" and "it's your birthday? why didn't you tell me!!"
to be frank, my mood wasn't the best.
then came the briefing by the level head where i met my class for the first time.
and i didn't like what i saw, so my mood spiralled further down.
16 people in my class, and only 4 of them are guys!
so it's like 3/4 of the class are girls.
ohwell.
after school i went home by myself and got prepared to spend the time watching movies and sleeping.
i watched juno and felt really sleepy after that.
so i went to take a nap.
my mum came in to get me to help her with some groceries, but i told her to go away HAHA.
then she came in later to say that my grand aunt wanted to take a picture with me.
so i obliged, and put on some decent looking clothes and went down.
and lo and behold, i was greeted by the sight of sab, ivan, joce and shawn shouting, "SURPRISE!" at me.
and the next thing i knew, a birthday cake with 17 burning candles was thrust at me.
all this happened while i was still half awake and groggy from my nap.
quite an overload on my senses, i might add.
but i was really plesantly surprised and happy to have their company on my birthday.
it was what i really wanted although that happening was the last thing on my mind
since i thought that everyone was busy with their own things.
jason joined us soon after, and we had dinner and chatted.
cut the cake, chatted some more and jason left.
then the rest and i played with sparklers in the garden and took pictures..
and then they all went home because it was getting late.
it was the perfect way to end my birthday, man. (:
just wish boon was there to celebrate it with me!
well at least i got to talk to him (:

i really wanna thank all of you who came by yesterday!
especially that stupid sabrina kwang shu ming who had apparently schemed with my mum since sunday.
but that was really really thoughtful of you.
i'm so touched!
you guys really made my day. (:

today tutorials and lectures officially started!
with our permanant timetable taking effect.
and so the journey with my class started.
okay, i confess that i was being too judgemental yesterday.
my class ain't as bad as i thought it would be.
lynn is seriously INSANE.
and dongzheng is just so edward-like.
forever sleeping during class, i wonder how he does it!
danielle and max, i'm just happy to have them with me.
and the rest are okay, getting to know them slowly.
decided our class committee today too,
and dongzheng being the 'father hen', or class rep.
i'm the 'mother hen', or the assistant class rep.
haha, i gave dongzheng the name 'father hen' because i think it really suits him..
since he was bringing us around school today and all.
haha 'mother hen' was given to me by the rest of the class when i became the assistant class rep.
all in all, i'm looking forward to bonding with the class..
can't wait for class bonding orientation next week!
from the sounds of it, its gonna be a hell lotta fun. xD
ahahahahaha its about time we had fun lol.
just gotta survive 3 more days of lectures, tutorials and homework!
c'mon rach, you can do it!

i'm brain dead from doing too much chem tutorials.
if i could swear, i'd swear that chem tutorials are going to be the death of me.
