okay, its about time i posted again.
sometimes, it just feels like a chore to update.
but then again if i don't my blog will rot faster.
besides, i want be able to pen down the events that make my life interesting.
helps keep me sane.

anyway! from where i left off..
looks like things are never going to be the same again.
from the way i see things, it really can't.
as much as we try to pretend and act that things are back to normal, it just isn't.
like what the others have said, people do change.
sometimes i wonder why love changes people.
why it makes those affected behave differently,
why it makes those affected treat others differently.
it kind of warps people up.
its really saddening. i've seen the true colours of some.
and what i see, i really don't like it at all.
its a shame, it feels like the few months of friendship was all a scam.
like the inner person was hidden from us.
up until recently.
ahwell, i guess its better than being ignorant now.
at least i've found out already.
but i've said it just now, and i'll say it again.
what a shame.

met up with dear leng one fine day on august 22..
had dinner with the girls after training then leng popped by to say hi and pass my racket back to me.
omg how i missed them both! (my racket and leng) LOL.
stayed back with leng after the girls left to catch up..
and i got quite emo reminiscing about the good old days.
emo-cum-happy, actually.
haha yeah, i really missed her.
stupid girl actually cried when it was time to part.
ahahaha, shows how much she misses me AWWW.
well at least school's near her house so at least we've got excuses to meet up more!

met up with some of spectrum7 (hahah retarded name) after SR's teachers' day celebrations..
nette, yang, steph and eunice went.
everyone's basically the same.. though i found steph to be more gu niang.
either that or its just that i forgot how niang she was already.
i really enjoyed scolding eunice like last time, it felt so good after so long! HAHA.
steph left after lunch and we walked around paragon and took photos together.
i miss them! pity pat and leng had stuff on.

nike+ human race was last week!
31.08.08 - the day the world ran.
arrived just on time and was quite frazzled dashing around to exchange my shirt and dump my bag at the bag deposit.
and it was purely through God's grace that i managed to locate danielle and the gang.
THANK YOU GOD. haha!
anyway, on the way to the starting point i saw EDWARD LEE!
yes, that stupid dope from church! my mouth dropped when i saw him.
i was like, edward lee, that fat (oops) dope is going to run 10km?!
haha okay not so bad but yeah.
i was seriously amused!! and he looked shocked to see me too.
gave that typical edward lee i-am-shocked wide-eyed look. HAHA.
okay inititally ran with dan and jasmine, but soon dan and i couldn't keep up with jas.
stupid girl runs so fast!
so yeah, dan and i ended up running together as usual.
gawd, i almost DIED out there!
mainly because i hadn't trained since the SR's will run hahah.
serves me right, actually.
i was so tempted to stop and walk, especially when running up the incline from a tunnel.
but God saw me through and i didn't stop. (:
dan was a great support too! i would've stopped if she wasn't with me heheh.
completed the run in 82 minutes (omg so SLOW)!
caught up with the rest at some war memorial near the padang and took pictures..
saw jerome, jolyn with amir, and lots of other SR people.
and i saw joey too! from OLGC..
apparently ant was there but i didn't know then ):
waited and endured crappy local musicians (save for jack and rai, the great spy experiment and some DJ who could beat box) for hours until Boys Like Girls finally played at 8.30pm.
utt and another VJ hosted the concert!
ahhh utt. :P
and they gave away so many free ipods!
just threw it into the audience, OMG.
jolyn's classmate caught one. lucky ass hahaha.
ohyeah, SR won the school category!
we got $10k and a huge trophy.
SR won something, finally! haha.
Boys Like Girls is not bad, actually. hahaha.
contrary to my initial view on them.
oh, and the crew started throwing out free BLG posters.. and i caught one instinctively as it floated to the ground beside me.
so i decided to bring it home as a momento. (:
it was an awesome night.
and the run was a great new experience.

alright, we've caught up with time.
haha this week was supposed to be a mugging week for me to catch up with studies.
i had grand plans to lock myself up at home to mug.
but alas, things didn't really work out that way. lol.

monday:
studied with geor (omg i'm seeing you after A YEAR) at toa payoh,
then went to watch wall e with jolyn and her 5-year-old brother jerome at marina.
WALL E IS THE BOMB!
don't you just LOVE him. (:
and jerome is SO CUTE (jolyn's brother, not that stupid dope from school lol).
makes me wish i had a younger sibling to look after.

tuesday:
studied in school with lynn, then rai and jolyn, then lynn again.
actually all i did was complete my chinese homework due that day and continue with his present.
so yeah, i didn't study at all!

wednesday:
lessons in school, then stayed back to 'study'.
ended up continuing the present AGAIN.

thursday:
present completed, finally, and delivered.
had econs tutorial then studied for an hour before going to cathay to watch hana yori dango (the movie) with jingfang.
saw shawn at the box office! HAHA how coincidental la.
he was going to watch wall e. (:
movie was great, walked around plaza sing with fang after that then went home.
no work done again. OMG.

friday:
initially planned to play tennis with my dad in the morning but it rained, dammit.
my mum and i met up with rachsim at j8 for lunch,
then she dragged me to consult her facial lady regarding my face condition.
wound up having facial done too.
and it was #$*&^% painful OW.
but i'll endure it to get my good skin back, haha.
relatives over for dinner, and there went my night.
WTH.

today:
lynn and dongzheng came over to do our econs alive presentation.
spent the whole day on it.
sigh.

and now, i should be studying but noooo i'm blogging.
ah where did my priorities go!

as much as i hate to deal with it, i've got to.
because me retaining is not a possibility, but a knowledege that it'll happen.
as sure as the sun rises each day, racheltan is not going to pass her promos.
haha, i'm not being pessimistic here, just being realistic.
