the past week has been alright, with the post-promo timetable kicking in.
the long breaks in between lessons rekindled my interest in bridge.
and thankfully i have friends to play it with! not only in class but in rocmoc as well!

its trainings 4 times a week from now on - mondays, wednesdays, thursdays and fridays.
well technically its 5 times a week, but tuesdays are optional.
4 times a week is mad. i obviously don't like it.
now i can't meet up with friends and stuff.
but ohwell, i can't do anything about it.
anyway it forces me to exercise and keep relatively fit.
so goodbye fats!

i've been reminiscing quite a bit during trainings too.. about the old badminton trainings in cedar.
i really reeally reeeally miss those trainings!
with the girls - leng, chris, sab, huiyan etc.
and with mrwee and mrgoh! omg i miss them.
i miss the footwork, the drills and the shuttles. i miss my racket, i miss my badminton shoes. i miss the 4 plastic boxes of equipment. i miss the nets and the poles. i miss the hall. i miss the feeling of awesomeness when i practiced doubles drills with leng and we moved in unison. i miss smashing/netting/dropping/tapping/lobbing/serving.
i miss the sense of belonging and comfort of being with the team and mrwee and mrgoh.
because they were my mentors and showered me with so much care and love!
omg, i miss the (very) entertaining chats i had with the both of them too! AHHH.
i miss the feeling of being in control and the confidence in myself.
i miss the feeling of being useful.
ohman, what i will give to be back training in cedar last time again.

anyway the GCE meetings have been kicking off, and with more details about the trip, i'm so excited!
i like my group (: i think we're a fun bunch.
gonna be rooming with the 4 girls in my group too! its so cool.
i'm uber excited to take pictures in yangshuo too!
i hope God blesses me with many opportunities to practice my photography skills..
i really hope to take home some awesome shots of God's creations and use it to shout His fame in the photography competition that's gonna take place after all the GCEs!

brought kwang to boulder at yishun safra on tuesday!
stupid ben invited himself along but in the end he didn't go.
anyway sabbie finally got a taste of what bouldering is like!

it was totally rad. :D
until the end, some VJ climbers came and made a lot of noise and acted very big and mighty.
whatever.
we laughed A LOT, took some pictures and climbed!
yay, we have memories of sabbie's very first bouldering experience! HAHA.
i sound like a proud parent.
