Life has been really monotonous lately.. Nothing interesting has happened. And therefore I haven't had the inspiration to blog. I mean, it'll just be me repeating the same things over again I guess.. School, dorm, school, dorm. Not worth the mention right? Sian.

But I'm dying of absolute boredom right now, and so to salvage myself, I shall post. On what, I have no idea. Let's see.. I'm much better now, only left with a little cough that doesn't really annoy me that much. Feels good to be normal again.. The cough was really getting on my nerves.

Stayed over on Friday and Saturday at Rydges, and because Pris' aunt was sick with some kind of stomach flu, Pris and I had to go to Safeway nearby to get ingredients for dinner. Ended up getting pre-cooked roasted chicken because we couldn't decide what to cook. Went back and made steamed egg (like chawanmushi), rice, long beans and cabbage in bean sauce and corn. Simple as it was, the food turned out really good! The corn was really sweet and lovely, and we of course had the roast chicken as well. I was so happy after that. Because I finally had my first cooking session in Australia and it was really yummy. (: I can't wait for next year when I can experiment in the kitchen! I need to master wielding then kitchen knife, man. I wanna learn how to cut veggies expertly haha.

Dear Wen is in Melbourne already! She reached on Saturday. Wasn't able to meet her after church on Sunday though, because my cell group was in charge of serving church lunch and I had to help. So I'm probably going to meet her either tomorrow or on Saturday. Church lunch was really fun anyway! Uncle TC made his hainanese chicken rice and it was a massive hit. I had a plate myself, and it was pretty good. I prefer Ivy's though, but its better than nothing. (: Had another cup of bubble tea too! This time I tried green milk tea. It passed again! I'm quite happy 'cause I found my bubble tea shop to patronise haha. And with a cup at $3, its cheaper than other bubble tea stalls. I'll pretend I didn't hear you scream that "Siao why bubble tea so expensive!" because this is, unfortunately, Australia.

Due to the fact that there's no such thing as eyebrow threading over here, and that eyebrow plucking services are super overpriced, I have resorted to learning how to thread my own eyebrows. Tried it for the first time just now, and surprisingly I didn't ruin my eyebrows haha. Its actually not as hard as it seems.. Just gotta keep practicing and soon I'll be able to shape my eyebrows confidently. Right now I'm too scared to actually shape it, lest I accidentally rip off one whole row of hair that wasn't supposed to be removed. So I've contented myself with dealing with the stray hairs. Did my upper lip as well. Yay, I don't have to waste my money going to pluck my eyebrows, I can do it myself now! :D My first beauty maintenance skill I learnt during my life in Australia. Wonder what the next one would be!

My dad has finally mailed off a box of things that was meant to be sent weeks ago. I wonder how long it'll take to reach here. Hope it doesn't get lost in transition or something though.. My beloved climbing gear is all inside! Along with Sab's farewell present to me that I never managed to get from her before I left. Latest update on the box's progress on Speedpost's website was on 18/7 and it read 'Processing at Sorting Centre'. Wherever that is. I can't wait I can't wait I can't wait!!

Shopping at Northland with Pris on Friday! Cannot wait too! Gonna get myself another pair of boots because my (cheap) Cotton On boots has little holes in them already. I knew they weren't that good.. But they did serve me well in the first month! Though come to think of it, one month is a pretty short period of time. . . Haha whatever, I'm getting better quality boots that will survive longer. I want to get myself a nice jacket too.. My black overcoat is going to die really soon at the rate that I'm wearing it. Haha maybe a biker jacket would be nice. (:

Okay I think I've wasted enough of my time typing all this out.. Think I shall sleep soon. Its about time I slept early for once haha I suck man. And, after finishing two tests today, I think I deserve the rest. (:
