Spring has finally sprung! Today had a record high of 30 degrees Celsius which saw me prancing around in a singlet and my FBTs.

Lingchi and I walked to Mackers to get lunch, and we were complaining of the heat the whole way out. It wasn't 30 degrees then, but since we weren't used to the heat, we found it kinda blah. Thankfully the wind was really strong so we didn't feel that hot. I can't fathom experiencing summer here though! 20+ degrees and I'm already complaining.. Can you imagine how bad it'll be at 30+, 40 degrees?? Shit man, so screwed. See this is what winter does to you. It rids you of your tolerance for hot weather and makes you a wimp. I'm Singaporean, man! Tahan-ing heat should be my second nature! But spending three months bundled up in layers against the blistering cold apparently erases those 18 years of heat tolerance I so painstakingly built up.

Its currently 21 degrees outside, my heater is switched to fan mode (but isn't helping) and I want to break down the walls to get the wind outside. Where's the cold?! ):

Totally gonna start my journey to getting skin cancer man, now that its hotter. Dunno how the angmohs can bear to lie on the grass and sun tan when the sun is so damn strong. But I do wanna tan one day. Just not as much as they do, its insane.

I find it really amusing that Leng thinks that I'm damn mugger now. Do I sound like that? Maybe its because I keep mentioning studying and exams in my posts. But that doesn't mean that I've become a nerd ever since I came here okay! Rest assured that the Ultimate Slacker named Rachel Tan that you know is still the same old Ultimate Slacker. Don't worry, a leopard can't change its spots.

No idea if I did my English paper well on Thursday. Was kinda distracted by something, so I kinda rushed through my summary, paragraph writing and comprehension after spending one and a half hours writing a mediocre essay. Or at least that's how I feel about my essay. Sigh, hope the teacher marking likes my writing la. In the end I finished an hour before the time was up and I left to go home and rest. Was really quite drained.

I absolutely can't wait till December comes and I can fly back home. Although its only for a really short month, I'll be so glad to be home. I know the time will pass extremely fast once I touch down in Singapore, but well, its all worth it I guess. But from now till then, I have three more months of enduring school. Wonder how I'll survive once everyone goes back in November.. Since university ends before my study break starts. Lingchi's leaving one whole month before I'm done! Which would totally leave me bored to death with no more neighbour to bug. Then Gen and Jerilyn would probably be leaving soon after too. Well at least I'll have Sheng here so I'm not alone. Haha. But yeah, three months and counting!!

Okay, time to sleep! Hope I can see my 白马王子 tomorrow at brekkie.. Haven't seen him for so long already! ): Teehee, he's so cute. :D
