Okay back from a hiatus! Was too lazy to update about anything, but I realised that my blog's starting to rot (which is never a good sign) and I actually have quite a bit to write about. So let's start from last week!

Studying's been pretty much still non-existant as usual, although I've been trying very hard (along with Lingchi) to try and get our brains to work. Especially important that Lingchi gets her brain working because her end-of-year exams are in two weeks' time. Haha but so far, she's been spending more time sleeping than studying. Tsk, even worse than me lol. As for me, I've been pretty much scraping through classes and tests. Incredibly, despite (and I admit it) not really studying for my tests, I've been getting A's for them so far. Except for the first biology test which I totally didn't study for and got 70%. ): But what am I complaining about, I should thank God that I got those relatively good scores despite being the slacker that I am and not studying. Gotta start fulfilling my Rachietan-must-mug-in-Semester2 promises man.. Haha.

But anyways, last week was kinda busy for me! To start off there was 1st North's Awards Night on Wednesday. Basically it was my dorm floor's party where awards are given out to people for things that they're known for etc. As mentioned in the previous post, the theme was Horseradish (i.e. bad taste) and we all had to dress badly I guess. Haha with help from Momma (Winnie) and Lingchi, I managed to come up with something really atrocious to wear. Lingchi looked like some Malay warrior while Momma looked like a lumber jack haha. The night was pretty fun I guess, even though I was kind of bored since I hardly knew anyone. But some of my floormates spoke to me, and there was Lingchi to talk to anyway. Besides, just watching the angmohs and their amusing antics was good enough to amuse us. The awards given out were really funny too! There was like Slut Award, Kitchen Sink Award, Mad Snake Award and Deep Shit Award among others. I won the Giggle Award. Apparently because I'm giggling all the time. -.- Had no idea I giggled though.. Thought it was only real laughing. It was so embarrassing anyway! Like a bruise to my pride lol. Giggling is for girly girls man. Ew. But nonetheless it was nice. (: Lingchi won the Volleyball Award for her obvious (and awe-inspiring) volleyball skills while Momma won the Pensioner Award for being the oldest 1st Northian HAHA.

Next up was Lingchi's surprise birthday party on Saturday night! Had planned it all out in my head the week before and I was really excited about it. The plan was to go to someone's room at around 10 plus at night with Lingchi to watch a movie, while everyone else sneaked into her room to decorate it. The movie ended after midnight, so Lingchi and I went back to our rooms and everyone hiding in her room surprised her when she opened her door.

Birthday girl and her door (:

Stage 2 of the surprise was blindfolding her and leading her outside into the courtyard to surprise her with her birthday cake. Used sparklers as candles and it was really pretty!! (: Surprisingly nobody complained about our noise though. Haha.

It was her first time playing with sparklers too!

The third and last surprise was making Lingchi go back into the dorm to search and collect 18 of our birthday wishes to her that were scattered around 1st North. I think it was a wonderful idea by Daphne. (:

Hahaha cheeky Lingchi trying to take a picture that's not hers

Hope you enjoyed that night Kakak! <3

Sun tanned under the sun for the first time here on Lingchi's birthday the next day.. Did some studying done as well. It was quite cloudy and windy that day, but thankfully the sun did come out occasionally. Sun tanning on the Simpson Lawn totally rocks anyway, especially on a Sunday when there's no one around in school. The sun was so nice and warm and I felt so nice and fuzzy. :D Fed some ducks, ran around the field, played some volleyball and did stupid things with Lingchi and Joee. Will probably do that again on Sunday. :D

It was Glenn College's Valedictory Dinner on Wednesday. It was held in the dining hall and the dress code was semi-formal. The dinner was not bad, I guess. Had lamb knuckle (I think) which was better that I thought it would be, while Lingchi and some breaded chicken dish which was nice too! It was during the dinner I realised that I would actually kinda miss Glenn quite a bit.. I guess I'll miss the daily interactions with friends during meal times, the interactions with the canteen staff (especially Cheryl and Chris) and secretly ogling at eyecandy during meal times. But ohwell, I still think its time to 'grow up' a little more and start cooking my own meals.

Chris! :D

That's all for the events that have happened over the past week for so! Took sooo many pictures! Haha gosh. I'm so glad that digital cameras were invented, seriously. Can't imagine taking 100 over photos every time I go out or stuff like that.

Oh, I lost my biology textbook too. ): Only realised it on Monday night when I was packing my bag for Tuesday's class. It wasn't in my room, and on Tuesday when I went to school, I couldn't find it either. So I have absolutely no freaking idea where the hell it disappeared to. I'm still sad over the loss, even though I've already gotten a replacement book from Boonkiak. But its the sentimental value (lame, I know) and the notes that I scribbled inside that makes my heart damn tia to lose the book. SIGHH. ): I'd rather lose it now than later, though. Not as many chapters' worth of notes gone so its not that bad. I'm just praying for a miracle that somehow or another I'll find my book again! However slim the chances of that happening, I'll just keep praying.

Its D-Day tomorrow.. The day of partying and drinking and going crazy. For the angmohs, that is. Its going to be literally one whole day of partying outside in the courtyard and everywhere in Glenn. D-Day starts at 6am and ends like super damn duper late. I'm so anticipating not to be able to get any peace tomorrow, sigh. Tickets are at $40, which includes a singlet, beer holder, lunch and dinner. But there's no way I'll pay $40 just for that because its not like I'm gonna drink or anything. Though I wanna play on the bouncy castle.. Never mind! I'll be a good girl tomorrow and STUDY for my tests next week. (bullshit) Haha!

TGIF.
